Program Director
Ben Perez is an experienced community organizer and a passionate income-inequality and social-justice activist. He is a member of Market Square Presbyterian Church’s Taskforce on Homelessness, and he oversees a weekly Friday night hot dinner at Market Square that serves between 80-100 meals every week.
In his spare time, Ben enjoys cooking (see above), volunteering, thrifting, and playing the piano and guitar.
Ben is extremely excited to be a part of the GTSFJ team, and he is looking forward to expanding our program in ways that benefit the residents of Allison Hill. Stop by on a Saturday morning and say hello! He would love to meet you and hear your thoughts regarding future programming ideas!
